Mechanism of Action
Etodolac:

A preferential COX-2 inhibitor, it inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, reducing pain and inflammation

Offers effective anti-inflammatory action with reduced risk of gastric mucosal damage compared to traditional NSAIDs
Tolperisone:

Acts centrally by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels and stabilizing neuronal membranes

Inhibits spinal reflexes and reduces muscle hypertonicity without causing sedation

Drug Interactions

Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids

Tolperisone may interact with CNS depressants or alcohol

Monitor INR if used with warfarin or other anticoagulants
Dosage and Administration

1 tablet twice daily after meals

Therapy duration: Short-term use (up to 7–10 days) unless otherwise directed
